Help Make a Difference for Wildlife
Devon Valley Wildlife Shelter relies on dedicated volunteers to care for injured, orphaned, and displaced wildlife. Whether you have hands-on experience with animals or simply a passion for helping, there’s a place for you on our team.

Volunteering is a rewarding way to contribute to wildlife conservation. By giving your time, you can:
- Provide direct care to injured and orphaned animals
- Assist with rescues and transport
- Help maintain enclosures and habitats

How You Can Help
We offer a variety of volunteer roles to suit different skills and availability:
🦘 Animal Care – Help feed, clean, and rehabilitate wildlife in our care. (Training provided.)
🚑 Rescue & Transport – Respond to calls and safely transport injured animals to our shelter or a vet.
📢 Education & Fundraising – Spread awareness, help with events, and support our mission.
📞Admin Support – Assist with essential admin tasks.
What’s Required?
- A love for animals and a willingness to learn
- Commitment to a regular volunteering schedule (even a few hours can make a big difference!)
- Some roles require training, which we provide
- For rescue and transport roles, a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are needed
